Baltimore Ravens Extend Rashod Bateman on Three-Year Contract

Baltimore Ravens and wide receiver Rashod Bateman have agreed to a three-year contract extension through the 2026 season, the team announced Wednesday. The financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

‘We are pleased to announce that we have extended Rashod Bateman’s contract through the 2026 season,’ Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta said. ‘Congratulations to ‘Bate’ and his family. This is a good day for the Ravens.’

Bateman, 24, had 32 catches for 367 yards and one touchdown in 16 games (12 starts) last season. He has 93 catches for 1,167 yards and four touchdowns in 34 career games (21 starts) since being selected by the Ravens with the 27th overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Ravens are hoping that Bateman can continue to develop into a star receiver. He has shown flashes of his potential, but he has also been inconsistent at times. If he can put it all together, he could be one of the best receivers in the NFL. The Ravens are certainly counting on him to be a big part of their offense in the years to come.
