Meta’s Ray-Ban Meta glasses now offer deeper integration with Apple Music, allowing users to control music playback using voice commands and a new gesture. Users can connect their Apple Music account directly to the glasses and ask Meta’s virtual assistant to play songs, playlists, albums, stations, or artists. A new voice command also allows users to ask the glasses to tell them the name of the song that’s playing. Additionally, Ray-Ban Meta glasses have been updated to support WhatsApp and Messenger, allowing users to use the glasses as a video camera.
To update Ray-Ban Meta glasses, ensure the glasses are nearby, paired to your phone, and recharged before installing an update. Download the latest version of the Meta View app on the App Store.
Ray-Ban Meta glasses are the successors to Ray-Ban Stories, the first smart glasses from Meta in partnership with Ray-Ban. With these glasses, users can capture photos and videos of what they’re seeing with just the click of a button. Users can also use the Ray-Ban Meta to livestream on Instagram or to make phone calls.
