Real-Life Dhoom: Bike-Borne Thieves Steal from Moving Truck, Delhi Police Arrests 4 for CCTV Battery Theft

In a real-life enactment of the Dhoom series’ thrilling action sequences, bike-borne thieves have executed a daring heist by stealing goods from a moving truck. The incident, captured on video and circulating on social media, showcases the thieves’ remarkable bravery and skill. As the truck trundles down an empty road, the thieves expertly maneuver their bikes alongside, reaching out to pilfer items from the truck’s open tailgate.

Their daring acrobatics include perilous stunts and a seamless return to their bikes while the truck driver remains oblivious to their actions. Social media users have reacted with a mix of amazement and amusement, drawing parallels to the plotlines of the Dhoom and Fast and Furious franchises.

On the other hand, the Delhi Police have taken swift action in a separate case involving the theft of CCTV backup batteries in a high-security zone. Their swift investigation has led to the arrest of four individuals, Akhlakh, Ahirwar, Rahim, and Hussein. The theft of these batteries posed a significant security risk by potentially hindering the functionality of CCTV cameras during power outages.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi), Devesh Kumar Mahla, emphasized the heightened risk associated with these thefts, which occurred in areas frequented by VIPs and diplomats. He further disclosed that the team apprehended Akhlakh after identifying him as a suspect with a history of similar crimes.

Through mobile number tracking and interrogation, the involvement of Rahim and Hussein was also brought to light. Seven stolen batteries were subsequently recovered from Akhlakh’s auto-rickshaw. The Delhi Police’s prompt response and arrests demonstrate their commitment to maintaining security and public safety.
