Australian comedian Rebel Wilson has revealed in her new book that she had a narrow escape from an orgy at a party at a California ranch in 2014.
In her memoir, Wilson recalls that she was invited to the party by a low ranking royal with little chance of becoming monarch. She was initially told that more girls were needed, but it was not until around 2 a.m. that she realized the party was about to turn into an orgy.
Wilson, who was wearing a “buxom damsel outfit complete with cone hat,” said she didn’t realize what was going to happen until a guy came out with a tray piled with what looked like candy.
“I’m like, ‘Ooooh, is that candy?’ and the guy holding the tray says, “No, this is the molly.'”
“He says, ‘Oh, it’s for the orgy . . . it’s about to start . . . the orgies normally start at these things about this time.'”
Having never had sex before, Wilson felt out of her depth and had to get out, also fearing the party could have been recorded.
“Now the comment by the Windsor about needing more girls started to make a lot more sense,” she wrote. “They weren’t talking about a boy-girl ratio like it was a year-eight disco. They were talking about an ORGY!”
“So I’m like two minutes away from being in an orgy… for my first sexual experience!”
Ultimately, Wilson didn’t have too long to wait before losing her virginity around a year or so later, but she shared the story of being a late bloomer in the hope of encouraging others not to put pressure on themselves.
“People can wait till they’re ready or wait till they’re a bit more mature,” she said. “And I think that could be a positive message. You obviously don’t have to wait until you’re in your 30s like me, but you shouldn’t feel pressure as a young person.”
