Rep. Brandon Williams, R-Sennett, represents the 22nd Congressional District in Central New York.

Washington – Rep. Brandon Williams missed a series of House votes Saturday on foreign aid for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan so that he could attend the funeral of slain Syracuse police officer Michael Jensen.

In a rare weekend session, the House voted to approve a $61 billion aid package for Ukraine, $26 billion in aid for Israel and humanitarian relief in Gaza, and $8 billion for Taiwan and other Indo-Pacific allies.
