Resorts World Cruises Celebrates 2nd Anniversary with Open House Event and New Mascot

Resorts World Cruises commemorated its second anniversary with a special ‘Open House’ event on June 23, 2024, in Singapore. The event, open to the public, drew nearly 1,000 attendees, including business and travel partners, local authorities, and media representatives. Guests enjoyed an exclusive opportunity to explore the Genting Dream and Resorts World One, interacting with the friendly crew, discovering onboard facilities and accommodations, and experiencing the diverse entertainment options. The celebration also featured delectable food and beverages.

This year’s anniversary marked a significant milestone for Resorts World Cruises, having welcomed nearly 3.3 million passengers. Expanding its reach across Asia, the cruise line has added new homeports in Jakarta, with Keelung and Dubai to follow in July and October, respectively. The ships will visit over 30 destinations, including recent additions like Ho Chi Minh City, Con Son, Bangkok, Ko Samui, and Redang Island.

To mark the anniversary, Resorts World Cruises introduced Pin Pin, its new mascot. The charming and adventurous character loves cruising, traveling, and meeting new people. Pin Pin will be a regular presence on both ships, engaging with guests and promoting exciting activities and destinations. Visitors to the www.rwcruises.com website can join in the fun with Pin Pin to win prizes.

President of Resorts World Cruises, Mr. Michael Goh, expressed his gratitude to guests and supporters, stating, “To have the Genting Dream and Resorts World One here together in Singapore for our 2nd Anniversary is truly special. Today’s ‘Open House’ celebration is our way of thanking our valued guests and also to those that had supported us over the years. We are extremely delighted with the strong turnout, as we are able to share this joyous occasion with more guests and also introduce Pin Pin, our all-new mascot”.

As part of the celebration, Resorts World One joined Genting Dream in receiving the official OIC/SMIIC* Standard Halal-Friendly Cruise Ship certification. With both ships now certified, Muslim travelers can enjoy certified Halal cuisines and other Muslim-friendly services.

Resorts World Cruises continues to garner international recognition for its exceptional services and offerings. The cruise line was awarded ‘Best Cruise Line’ in both the ‘Cuisine’ and ‘Entertainment’ categories at the Travel Weekly Asia Readers’ Choice Awards for 2022 and 2023.
