Dear Annie, our neighbors, who reside in a cul-de-sac behind our property, have repeatedly cut through our backyard to facilitate their daily walks. This behavior has become a regular occurrence, and they now act as if they are entitled to use our property as a public walkway. Initially, we enjoyed friendly interactions with these neighbors, but their recent actions have left us feeling disregarded. When we are outside working on our property, they often bypass us without acknowledgment. We would like to convey our property’s private status politely but firmly. Please advise on how we can effectively address this situation.
