Richard Madeley Slams Madonna for Six-Hour Interview Delay

Expressing his frustration, Richard Madeley, the 67-year-old ITV presenter, shared his experience of interviewing Madonna, which was delayed by six hours. Madeley revealed that the interview, which took place “years ago,” didn’t start until the early hours of the morning, leaving him furious. He further stated that the conversation with the singer, known for her hit song “Like a Prayer,” was not worth the wait as she came across as “weird.” Madeley’s remarks come in the wake of reports that Madonna is facing lawsuits from fans due to her tardiness at her Celebration tour concerts. Concertgoers in Washington DC have accused the singer of “total disrespect,” alleging that she started performances two hours late. The lawsuit, filed in DC federal court last Friday, claims that the singer breached the law by failing to appear on stage at the designated time, resulting in legal action. According to the lawsuit, when Madonna finally arrived, she told the audience, “I am sorry I am late… no, I am not sorry, it’s who I am… I’m always late.”
