The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced its 2024 inductees, who will be honored at the 39th annual induction ceremony on October 19, 2024. This year’s class includes music legends such as Cher, Mary J. Blige, Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner, Frampton, and Kool & the Gang.
The induction ceremony marks a significant first for several artists. Cher, Foreigner, Frampton, and Kool & the Gang will all be inducted for the first time. Ozzy Osbourne, who was previously inducted as a member of Black Sabbath, will now receive the honor as a solo artist.
In addition to the performer inductees, the ceremony will also recognize Jimmy Buffett, Dionne Warwick, Norman Whitfield, and MC5 with the Musical Excellence Award, which celebrates outstanding contributions to music. Suzanne de Passe will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award for her influential work in the industry.
