Asus Unveils ROG Ally X: Enhanced Gaming Laptop with Boosted Battery and More
Asus is introducing the ROG Ally X, a highly anticipated upgrade to their popular ROG Ally gaming laptop. The Ally X boasts a range of significant improvements, delivering an enhanced gaming experience for enthusiasts.
Increased Battery Capacity and Performance Upgrades
A key highlight of the ROG Ally X is its dramatically increased battery capacity, offering over 40% more power than its predecessor. This substantial upgrade ensures extended gaming sessions without interruption. Asus also hints at upgrades to RAM and storage, promising more memory and larger storage options for users.
Upgraded Armoury Crate 1.5 Software
The ROG Ally X comes pre-installed with Armoury Crate 1.5, the latest iteration of Asus’s gaming software suite. Armoury Crate 1.5 features a redesigned interface for improved navigation, along with new layouts and filters for games. Crucially, it now allows users to uninstall games directly from the app and access AMD’s Fluid Motion Frames (AFMF) technology, previously only available through external applications.

While Asus remains tight-lipped about other specific upgrades, the Ally X is expected to retain the same internal components and 1080p screen as the original Ally.
