Luxury, opulence, and prestige are synonymous with Rolls-Royce, the renowned manufacturer of some of the world’s most expensive cars. The Rolls Royce Boat Tail, currently one of the most expensive cars in the world, is priced at approximately Rs 234 crore. This British car manufacturer is globally renowned for its uniquely styled cars.
The limited edition Boat Tail draws inspiration from classic yachts, evident in its design cues. Powered by a twin-turbo 6.75-liter V12 engine, the same that drives the Phantom, the car boasts a windscreen resembling classic speedboats. The rear deck features the unique Caleidolegno veneer, a material typically reserved for dashboards.
Inside, the Boat Tail is a haven of luxury, boasting fine cutlery, silverware, and two refrigerators specifically designed for champagne. This four-seater convertible transcends the realm of a mere car, offering a sophisticated mobile dining experience. A collapsible table and an extendable umbrella in the back enhance its functionality. It took almost four years and the assembly of 1,813 parts to craft this handbuilt masterpiece. The car’s interiors are adorned with special wood veneers, showcasing Rolls-Royce’s commitment to craftsmanship.
Only three units of the Boat Tail have been produced, each meticulously customized for its owner. These three cars are unique, differing from one another in their design and features. Media reports indicate that billionaire rapper Jay-Z and his wife, pop icon Beyonce, are among the fortunate few to own this exclusive car. Another owner is reportedly from a family with substantial wealth accumulated in the pearl industry, although their identity remains undisclosed. The second model of this priceless Rolls Royce car is owned by Argentine footballer Mauro Icardi.
The Rolls-Royce Boat Tail exemplifies the pinnacle of luxury automotive design and engineering. It is a testament to the brand’s commitment to creating vehicles that are not just cars but works of art, designed for the discerning few who appreciate the finer things in life.
