Those appointed as Chemical & Metallurgical Assistants will also be placed at Pay Level 7, but their basic pay will be higher at ₹44,900. 1. Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Stage 1:
This initial test comprises 100 objective-type questions and lasts 90 minutes, or 120 minutes for candidates with disabilities using a scribe.
