There are two ways to reach Mohgwyn Palace. The first is to complete White Mask Varré’s questline. Once you’ve defeated Godrick, speak to Varré at the Church of Elleh. He’ll give you a quest to invade three players. Once you’ve invaded three players, speak to Varré again and he’ll give you the Pureblood Knight’s Medal. This item will allow you to access Mohgwyn Palace, but to get there, you need to use the teleporter that he marks on your map.
The second way to get to Mohgwyn Palace is to use a teleporter located west of the Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace. To activate the teleporter, you’ll need to collect the two halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion. Once you have both halves, return to the teleporter and use it to travel to Mohgwyn Palace.
Once you’re in Mohgwyn Palace, follow the path until you reach the Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace. From there, head north and you’ll find a group of enemies near a cliff. These enemies are relatively easy to kill, they drop a decent amount of runes, and they respawn quickly.
To optimize your rune farming, you can use a variety of methods. One popular method is to use the Wave of Gold skill. This skill creates a wave of golden energy that damages all enemies in its path. Another popular method is to use the Sacred Relic Sword. This sword fires a beam of golden energy that deals massive damage to a single enemy.
