Sachin Pilot Slams PM Modi’s Campaign Speeches, Accuses BJP of Divisive Tactics

Senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s controversial campaign speeches, accusing him of employing divisive tactics to divert attention from the BJP’s electoral worries. Pilot asserted that the BJP’s alarming and communal rhetoric was a ploy to appease its shrinking support base, as evidenced by the recent election results. He criticized the Election Commission of India (ECI) for its perceived bias, urging the body to ensure a level playing field for all parties. Pilot further accused the BJP of misusing constitutional institutions, compromising their transparency and credibility.

In an address to the media while campaigning for the United Democratic Front (UDF) candidate in Thiruvananthapuram, Pilot denounced the behavior of Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who attacked Rahul Gandhi. He condemned Vijayan’s actions as unbecoming of someone holding a constitutional office, highlighting the allegations and controversies surrounding the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government. Pilot emphasized the UDF’s and INDIA bloc’s commitment to providing a blueprint for the next five years, echoing their shared vision for the future.
