Salman Khan Firing Case: Accused Interrogated, Bishnoi Brothers Declared Wanted
The Delhi Crime Branch has reached Mumbai to interrogate Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, the two accused arrested in the Salman Khan firing case. The interrogation lasted approximately three hours. The Mumbai Crime Branch has gathered substantial evidence against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother Anmol Bishnoi, who are believed to be the primary conspirators and have been named as the most wanted accused in the case.
Evidence Gathered and Investigation Updates
The Mumbai Police filed a case against four individuals in connection with the firing incident, including Anmol Bishnoi and Lawrence Bishnoi. According to the Mumbai Crime Branch, the shooters conducted four reconnaissance missions at Salman Khan’s residence before carrying out the attack. They had also visited Khan’s farmhouse, but due to his absence, they decided to target his primary residence.
A broken mobile phone was confiscated from the accused at the time of their arrest. The Crime Branch believes they possess multiple phones and is actively searching for the remaining devices. Additionally, a second pistol, four magazines, and 17 rounds were recovered from the Tapi River in Surat. CCTV footage captured the accused wearing caps and carrying backpacks during the incident.
Accused Footprint Tracing and Financial Transactions
Traces of shooter Vicky Gupta’s footprints were discovered during his journey from Mumbai to Bhuj in Gujarat. The shooters disposed of the firearm and magazine in the Tapi River near Surat. The police are currently searching the river for the accused’s phones, as they suspect numerous bank transactions were made using these devices.
The sections under IPC 506(2) (threatening), 115 (abetment), and 201 (tampering with evidence) have been added to the case.
Lawrence Bishnoi and Anmol Bishnoi’s Involvement
The Mumbai Crime Branch has disclosed that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother Anmol Bishnoi have been declared wanted in connection with the case. Anmol Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the firing incident via a Facebook post following the attack.
The investigation is ongoing, and further details are expected to be released in due time.
