Salman Khan Firing Case: Lookout Circular Issued Against Anmol Bishnoi
The Mumbai Crime Branch has sent a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs seeking a lookout circular against Anmol Bishnoi, the absconding brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Lawrence Bishnoi had claimed responsibility for the firing incident that took place at actor Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai on June 2. The Crime Branch has gathered evidence linking both Lawrence and Anmol Bishnoi to the plot to kill Salman Khan.
Crime Branch Investigation
The Crime Branch has been investigating the case since the incident occurred and has arrested two shooters, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal. During interrogation, the shooters revealed that they had video-called Anmol Bishnoi while disposing of the pistols used in the firing into the Tapi river in Surat. The Crime Branch has recovered the same pistols from the river.
The investigation also revealed that the plot to kill Salman Khan was hatched inside Sabarmati Central Jail in Gujarat, where Lawrence Bishnoi is lodged. The shooters were instructed by Anmol Bishnoi to take shelter at the Mata no Madh temple in Kutch Bhuj, which is located near the India-Pakistan border. A local crime branch team arrested the shooters, but a gang member who was with them managed to escape.
The Crime Branch is also investigating the list of people who visited Sabarmati Central Jail in the past few months to determine if there were any other accomplices involved in the plot. The investigation is ongoing, and further arrests are expected in the coming days.
