On Wednesday, Delhi Crime Branch officials in Mumbai interrogated two accused, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, for approximately three hours concerning the firing incident outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s home. The interrogation centered on evidence linking the accused to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is believed to be the mastermind behind the conspiracy.
Mumbai Police have charged four individuals in connection with the incident, including Anmol Bishnoi and Lawrence Bishnoi. According to information obtained by the Mumbai Crime Branch, the shooters had conducted reconnaissance missions prior to the shooting, including visiting Khan’s farmhouse. However, due to Khan’s extended absence from the property, they opted to target his residence.
Crime Branch officials reported that the accused utilized multiple phones, and they are actively searching for additional devices. Previously, a second pistol, four magazines, and 17 rounds of ammunition were recovered from the Tapi River in Surat. Further investigation revealed that the shooters disposed of the firearm and magazine in the river while traveling from Mumbai to Bhuj, Gujarat.
