The ongoing feud between Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang has taken a dramatic turn with a chilling threat issued by a man from Uttar Pradesh. This individual, identified as Imran, has publicly declared that he would unleash severe repercussions if any harm befalls Salman Khan.
Imran’s threat, delivered through a video posted on social media, has sent shockwaves through the city of Mumbai and beyond. He boldly asserted, “Listen Lawrence Bishnoi… you have 2 thousand shooters ready and I have also sent 5 thousand shooters to Bombay. If something happens to Salman bhai, it will not be good Lawrence.” This bold statement, accompanied by a fierce demeanor, has undoubtedly heightened the already tense situation between the Bishnoi gang and Salman Khan.
The threat follows a string of violent incidents, including the recent shooting of Nationalist Congress Party leader Baba Siddique in Mumbai, which the Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for. This pattern of violence has cast a dark shadow over the city, and the latest threat from Imran has only added to the growing sense of insecurity.
Police investigations revealed that Imran, a laborer and painter residing in the Lalganj police station area of Raebareli, recently returned from Mumbai. While he initially claimed to have posted the video while intoxicated, police authorities are treating the threat with utmost seriousness. They have issued a warning to Imran and are closely monitoring the situation.
The animosity between Lawrence Bishnoi and Salman Khan dates back to 2018 when Bishnoi, during a court appearance in Jodhpur, declared, “We will kill Salman Khan. Everyone will know once we take action. I have not done anything as of now, they are accusing me of crimes for no reason.” Since then, Salman Khan has received numerous threats, culminating in a near-fatal incident in April this year. Two shooters, reportedly belonging to the Bishnoi gang, fired gunshots outside Salman’s Bandra residence before being apprehended by the authorities.
The origin of this bitter rivalry can be traced back to the infamous blackbuck poaching case involving Salman Khan in 1998. During the filming of the movie ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’ in Rajasthan, Salman Khan allegedly killed two blackbucks, a species revered by the Bishnoi community. This act ignited the ire of the Bishnoi community and set the stage for a long-standing feud.
Lawrence Bishnoi, currently incarcerated in Ahmedabad’s Sabarmati Jail, faces a plethora of charges, including murder, attempted murder, extortion, and drug and arms smuggling. Despite his confinement, the Bishnoi gang continues to operate, and its threat to Salman Khan remains very real.
The recent threat from Imran has only amplified the existing tension. Authorities are working diligently to ensure the safety of Salman Khan and prevent further violence. However, the situation remains precarious, and the feud between the Bishnoi gang and Salman Khan continues to be a source of concern for law enforcement agencies.
