Get ready for a possible design revolution in the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Leaked mock-ups from reliable source Ice Universe hint at a significant departure from the current Galaxy S24 Ultra, showcasing a phone with significantly rounded corners. This design shift follows earlier reports indicating the Galaxy S25 Ultra would sport a flatter front and back, aligning its aesthetic with the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus. Ice Universe further suggests the rounded corners extend to the back and front panels, potentially reminiscent of the Galaxy Note 7.
While these mock-ups are not based on leaked CAD renders, they provide an early glimpse into what Samsung’s next flagship phone might look like.
Beyond the design, rumors suggest a substantial RAM upgrade for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, possibly jumping from 12GB to 16GB. Additionally, the phone is expected to retain a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging, consistent with previous Galaxy S Ultra models.
Further reports hint at thinner bezels compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, signifying a more immersive viewing experience. Furthermore, the Galaxy S25 series might introduce a new OLED technology for the display, allowing for a fingerprint scanner embedded anywhere on the screen.
As with any new Samsung flagship, we can anticipate improved processors, and the Galaxy S25 models are likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.
Samsung is expected to unveil three new Galaxy S models in 2025 – the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25, and Galaxy S25 Plus. These devices are anticipated to be unveiled in January or February, with subsequent releases soon after.
