Samsung is poised to unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 6 on Wednesday, July 11th, but leaked marketing images have already given us a glimpse of the highly anticipated phone. While the images don’t reveal any groundbreaking surprises, they do confirm a stunning design that lives up to the hype.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 5, offering a familiar yet refined aesthetic. It’s anticipated to boast a 6.7-inch main screen paired with a larger 3.4-inch cover display, although rumors suggest this could be bumped up to 3.9 inches. The leaked images confirm a diverse palette of colors for the phone, including Light Blue, Mint, Silver Shadow, Yellow, Crafted Black, Peach, and White.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to be powered by the robust Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, mirroring the recently released Galaxy S24 lineup. However, Samsung might also release a more budget-friendly version featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, the same one found in the current Z Flip model.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 will take center stage at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris next week, alongside the anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Watch 7, and the brand-new Galaxy Ring. All of these products are expected to be available for purchase shortly after the event.
While the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is anticipated to be more affordable than the upcoming Z Fold, it’s still expected to come with a hefty price tag. Earlier leaks suggest that Samsung will be raising prices, with the most basic model starting at a minimum of $1,400. However, these price points have not been officially confirmed.
