Samsung Premiere 9 Projector: A Cinema-Quality Experience for Your Home

Samsung continues to dominate the television market, but their latest innovation takes home entertainment to a whole new level. The Korean tech giant unveiled its groundbreaking ultra-short throw projectors, the Premiere 9 and Premiere 7, at the IFA technology show in Berlin. These projectors are designed to sit discreetly by your walls, seamlessly blending into your home decor.

The Premiere 9 and Premiere 7 boast a sleek, compact design, finished with premium fabric from Kvadrat, making them a stylish addition to any living space. When it’s time to enjoy a movie marathon or a captivating Hollywood blockbuster, these projectors come to life, projecting images up to 130 inches onto your wall. Both models deliver stunning 4K visuals and support HDR10+, ensuring clear, vibrant, and lifelike imagery.

Samsung promises exceptional picture quality even in bright environments thanks to their AI Upscaling and Vision Booster technologies. And for an immersive audio experience, both models feature built-in speakers that deliver Dolby Atmos sound. This means you can enjoy a true cinema-style experience without the need for additional speakers in your room.

The Premiere 9 features powerful 40W 2.2.2 channel up-firing speakers, while the Premiere 7 comes with 30W 2.2ch speakers, creating an expansive dome of sound. To ensure there’s plenty to watch, both projectors are powered by Samsung Tizen OS, offering quick access to premium streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, and Apple TV+. You can also enjoy endless hours of free content with Samsung TV Plus.

Even when not used for movie nights, The Premiere serves as a convenient and entertaining smart speaker, enabling hands-free voice control and access to various music applications.

Cheolgi Kim, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, said, “The Premiere lineup is set to redefine the premium home cinema experience by combining our advanced laser technology with cutting-edge, user-friendly features that offer stunning picture quality and immersive sound.” He added, “As we continue to innovate, we envision a future where our products transform everyday living spaces into immersive entertainment hubs, setting new standards for home entertainment.”

While the projectors are undoubtedly impressive, the price tag may be a deterrent for some. The Premiere 9 is currently available for £5,999, while the Premiere 7 will be available in the UK starting in October.
