Samsung is exploring a subscription model for both the Samsung Health app and possibly the Galaxy Ring. The company’s Digital Health Team vice president has indicated that such a plan is under consideration. Samsung may also incorporate AI features into its wearables to provide personalized health insights and coaching. Given the potential profitability of wearable subscriptions for health tracking, it would not be surprising if Samsung embraces this model. The company could potentially bundle the Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watch 7 under the same subscription plan to make it more enticing for consumers.
