Samsung has just unveiled its latest Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, the first in its new ‘powerhouse AI PC’ lineup. This 2-in-1 laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processor (also known as Lunar Lake), providing users with a blend of raw power and advanced AI features.
The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 boasts an impressive 47 tera operations per second (TOPS) of NPU power, delivering a seamless experience for Copilot+ tasks. However, while the Copilot+ experience is currently not available at launch, Samsung plans to integrate it via future updates, which Microsoft has confirmed will arrive in November.
Beyond Copilot+, users can also connect their Galaxy phone via Microsoft Phone Link to access a suite of Galaxy AI features. These include Circle to Search with Google, Chat Assist, Live Translate, and Transcript Assist, further enhancing productivity and convenience.
One of the key selling points of the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 is its emphasis on “performance meets ecosystem connectivity.” Similar to other Galaxy Book models, this laptop shines when paired with other Samsung devices, allowing users to unlock a wider range of features and functionality.
The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 also boasts a stunning 16-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with Vision Booster, ensuring vibrant colors and optimal visibility even outdoors. With a high resolution of 2880 x 1800, Samsung has ensured a sharp and detailed viewing experience, unlike the original 15-inch Galaxy Book Pro 360 with its lower 1080p resolution. The display also features a touchscreen, allowing users to take advantage of the 360 hinges and S Pen, transforming the laptop into a tablet.
A key feature of Copilot+ PCs is their impressive battery life, and Samsung promises “all-day battery life” and up to 25 hours of video playback for the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360. It remains to be seen if these claims will hold up to real-world usage, but we will keep you updated on the performance once reviewers have had a chance to test it.
The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 will be available in two RAM options (16GB or 32GB) and two storage configurations (512GB or 1TB). This powerhouse PC is set to hit stores this month, offering users a compelling blend of performance, AI features, and versatility.
