ASM Global Appoints Experienced Executive to Lead King Abdullah Financial District Conference Center in Riyadh

Olea brings extensive experience in the sports, entertainment, and event industries across the Middle East, making him a perfect fit to spearhead the operations of this state-of-the-art venue.
With over a decade of experience, Olea’s expertise in managing major events and driving operational excellence is well-established. He joins ASM Global from MBC Group, the largest media company in the Middle East and North Africa, where he served as Chief Operating Officer for MBC Events. During his tenure at MBC, Olea played a pivotal role in elevating the company’s event operations, fostering strategic alliances, and ensuring seamless event execution.
Prior to his role at MBC, Olea worked with Live Nation in the Middle East, demonstrating a keen understanding of venue management and the attraction of high-profile national and international events. His experience in the region and ability to manage complex projects will be instrumental in establishing the KAFD Conference Center as a premier destination for international meetings, trade shows, and cultural events.
As General Manager, Olea will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the KAFD Conference Center’s planning, operations, and customer satisfaction, ensuring adherence to ASM Global’s international standards and rigorous governance.
