SANY Group, in partnership with DNL Machine & Equipment, has unveiled its first medium-sized electric excavator, the SY215E, in the Netherlands. The launch event, which took place in , attracted a significant audience, including over ten component suppliers, such as Leica Germany, approximately 250 customers, and journalists representing industry associations like POUW. This marks SANY’s entry into the European electric excavator market, with the Netherlands chosen for its pioneering electric vehicle sector.
The SY215E, which arrived in the Netherlands as a prototype in May, has already generated considerable interest, resulting in numerous pre-sale orders. Weighing in at 232,000 kg, the SY215E boasts a maximum digging height of 9,600 mm and a maximum digging depth of 6,255 mm. It is available with track widths of 600 mm, 700 mm, 800 mm, and 900 mm. Designed specifically for the European market, the SY215E offers a range of benefits, including cost-saving operation, convenience, high performance, and enhanced safety.
