The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has announced the appointment of Qusai Al-Fakhri, CEO of the Tourism Development Fund (TDF) in Saudi Arabia, to its Executive Committee. This strategic move reflects the WTTC’s commitment to assembling a diverse group of world-class leaders to shape the future of the global travel and tourism industry.
Al-Fakhri brings a wealth of experience to the table, having spent over two decades in corporate and investment banking, coupled with a strong track record in tourism development. His impressive career includes serving as an Investment Advisor to the Minister of Tourism for Saudi Arabia, Co-Founder of Tiraz AlArabia, and CEO of Al Ajial Holding. He also holds board committee positions in several government entities related to tourism in Saudi Arabia and has held independent board positions with prominent financial institutions such as AlRajhi Takaful and Samba Financial Group.
His expertise spans investment banking, institutional coverage, and tourism strategy, making him an invaluable asset to the WTTC’s Executive Committee.
