Saudi Tourism Authority Shines at Arabian Travel Market 2024

Leading the Saudi delegation at ATM was Fahd Hamidaddin, CEO and Board Member of STA. The delegation showcased a diverse range of tourism offerings, including destination management firms, hotels, and airlines, highlighting the nation’s commitment to revolutionizing and expanding its tourism sector.

STA’s participation at ATM included a ministerial panel discussion on outbound tourism beyond the GCC, an exclusive media event showcasing Saudi’s summer offerings, and a trade briefing amplifying awareness of the STA’s summer campaign.

Fahd Hamidaddin expressed optimism for the future of tourism in Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the country’s unique value proposition and diverse destinations. He highlighted the importance of regional collaboration in creating a greater tourism economy and elevating the GCC as a global tourism hub.

The Saudi stand at ATM attracted over 55,000 visitors, presenting a wide array of bookable products from destinations such as Jeddah, AlUla, and the Red Sea. The event served as a platform to showcase Saudi Arabia’s ambition to surpass 150 million tourists by 2030.

STA’s presence at ATM culminated in the recognition of its achievements, including the Best Stand in Business award and three wins at the World Travel Awards, including Middle East’s Leading Marketing Campaign for 2024. The event marked a significant milestone in Saudi Arabia’s journey to become a premier global tourism destination.
