Scheffler’s latest triumph further extends his lead at the top of the world rankings, with Rory McIlroy now more than double the points behind.

Xander Schauffele has dropped from third to fifth, and Viktor Hovland is now seventh, while Brooks Koepka has fallen three places to 36th.
