Seabourn, a leading name in ultra-luxury cruising and expedition travel, has unveiled an exceptional lineup of Asia itineraries for the late 2024 and 2025 cruise seasons. Between December 2024 and March 2025, and again in November 2025, Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Quest will set sail on captivating journeys through Southeast Asia and Japan. These voyages will take guests from the rich cultures of Vietnam and Thailand to the iconic skyline of Singapore, offering an unforgettable exploration of the region’s diverse destinations.
Seabourn Encore will kick off the season with seven sailings between Singapore and Hong Kong, offering both 13-day and 14-day itinerary options. Highlights include Seabourn’s signature Caviar in the Surf experience at Koh Kood, Thailand, and overnight stays in the bustling metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. A special 14-day Southeast Asia & Japan voyage, departing on March 2, 2025, from Singapore to Kobe, Japan, will introduce a new port of call for Seabourn—Tokushima, Japan. Additional maiden calls for Seabourn Encore include Kochi and Kobe, Japan, alongside another overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. The season concludes with a 25-day Japan & Hawaiian Islands Pacific Crossing, sailing from Kobe, Japan, to Long Beach, California. This journey marks Seabourn Encore’s first-ever visit to the United States, with a stop in Wakayama, Japan. Guests onboard can enjoy curated entertainment and speaker programs during the sea days, with further details to be announced.
Seabourn Quest embarks on a series of itineraries ranging from 14 to 34 days, offering the option to combine voyages for an extensive exploration of Asia. The ship will sail across Japan’s islands during the peak of cherry blossom season, offering guests a stunning blend of cultural immersion and natural beauty. An exclusive 20-day “Pacific Passage: Golden Week to Glacier Bay” voyage departs in April 2025, combining Japan’s vibrant Golden Week festivities and cherry blossoms with Alaska’s early-season beauty. Travelers will experience Japan’s rich traditions before enjoying Alaska’s serene landscapes and abundant wildlife in less-crowded conditions.
In fall 2025, Seabourn Quest returns to Japan for an extraordinary season showcasing the country’s autumn landscapes. Between September and November, the ship will embark on four sailings ranging from 12 to 41 days, visiting over 20 destinations across Japan’s main islands and hidden southern gems. Maiden calls include Akita, known for its samurai districts and hot springs; Ishinomaki, famous for its arts scene; Niigata, celebrated for coastal beauty; and Wakayama, home to architectural wonders and sacred sites.
Seabourn is introducing two new optional shore excursions for select Japan voyages: Seabourn Conversations: Special Guest Speakers. Select sailings will feature Seabourn’s complimentary enrichment program, Seabourn Conversations, with notable guest speakers. These exciting itineraries and guest experiences promise to make Seabourn’s 2024-2025 Asia season truly unforgettable.
