Search for Paintball Shooting Suspects in Mission, BC

In Mission, British Columbia, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is investigating a series of paintball shootings that have occurred over the past week. The incidents have targeted both businesses and individuals, leaving several victims injured and causing damage to property.

The first incident took place on April 18th, when a business along Lougheed Highway near Haig Street was shot with paintballs overnight, triggering an alarm. On Tuesday, a worker was struck in the head by a paintball fired from a passing car outside a business on 1st Avenue near Welton Street.

Just 20 minutes and a few blocks later, a man walking in the area of 1st Avenue and Grand Street was also shot with a paintball. Around 7:30 p.m. that same evening, a youth was hit by a paintball just a few blocks north at Grand Street and 7th Avenue.

The Mission RCMP has identified the suspect vehicle as a black 4-door Volkswagen Jetta with aftermarket red and black wheels and a black front grille with either red lights or red accents. Anyone with information about the vehicle or the case is urged to contact the Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161.

The investigation is ongoing, and the RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspects and preventing further incidents of paintball violence in the Mission area.
