A Secret Service agent was robbed at gunpoint in Tustin, California, on Saturday, June 15th, just after 9:30 p.m. The incident occurred while President Biden was attending a star-studded fundraiser in Los Angeles, raising over $30 million for his campaign.
The Tustin Police Department responded to a call about a possible robbery at the Tustin Fields 1 residential community. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the victim was a member of the Secret Service and that his bag had been stolen at gunpoint. During the incident, an agent-involved shooting occurred, but it is unknown whether the suspect(s) were injured.
Police are searching for a silver Infiniti FX35 or similar vehicle that was seen leaving the scene. Authorities are urging anyone with information to call 714-573-3372. They have stated there is no known threat to the public.
