In a significant intelligence-based operation conducted by Pakistan’s security forces in Pishin District, Balochistan, three terrorists were successfully eliminated and another was apprehended on April 22-23.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that during a fierce firefight, three terrorists met their demise, while an Afghan national who received injuries was apprehended. The operation also resulted in the recovery of a large quantity of weapons, ammunition, and explosives.
The ISPR’s statement emphasized that Pakistan’s security forces remain resolute in their commitment to thwart any attempts to undermine peace, stability, and progress in Balochistan, working in unison with the nation.
In a separate operation, the ISPR had previously announced that security forces had neutralized at least 11 terrorists in two distinct operations conducted in Dera Ismail Khan and North Waziristan, located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a day prior to the Pishin District operation.
