A large semi-truck was observed emitting heavy black smoke on Caltrans CCTV cameras on Monday morning after it reportedly collided with other vehicles in West Sacramento.
Around 7:41 a.m., police were dispatched to the crash site on westbound Interstate 80 close to the Reed Avenue off-ramp, according to California Highway Patrol logs. The cause of the crash and any potential injuries are still unknown.
