A car and a truck were involved in a serious two-vehicle crash on an interstate highway between Braidwood and Cargills Ln on Tuesday morning. Paramedics were called shortly after 9am and treated a man in his 50s at the scene. He was airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a serious condition. The 57-year-old truck driver was uninjured.
The collision occurred on the Kings Highway at Braidwood, between Narranghi Rd and Cargills Ln about 8.45am. The eastbound lanes of the Kings Highway were closed, with local diversions in place.
