Seton Hall Prep’s baseball team extended its winning streak to four games with an 11-1 victory over Nutley on Thursday at Porcello Field.
William Mahala paced the Pirates’ offense with a 2-for-2 performance, including three RBI and two runs scored. J.J. Drennan added three hits, two RBI, and two runs, while Peter Peluso, William Garrett, Michael Bravette, and Jordan Burwell also contributed with hits and RBI.
Roman Baldwin got the win on the mound for Seton Hall Prep, allowing just one run on four hits over five innings of work. He struck out four batters and did not walk any.
Erik Thompson singled and scored the lone run for Nutley.
Seton Hall Prep improved to 10-2-1 with the win, while Nutley fell to 1-8.
