The Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown, a beloved landmark nestled in the heart of Music City, has just unveiled a stunning transformation after a multi-million dollar renovation. Owned by Dreamscape Companies and Centerbridge Partners, the hotel stands as a testament to the Sheraton brand’s global vision to become “The World’s Gathering Place.” Managed by Aimbridge Hospitality, the renovation breathes new life into the 494-room hotel, making it a prime destination for business, leisure, and group travelers.
The revitalization goes beyond a simple facelift. Every corner of the hotel reflects a modern, dynamic design, with a focus on creating inviting communal spaces and elevating the guest experience. The hotel’s 28 floors now boast redesigned guest rooms, enhanced meeting spaces, and new signature experiences like Gatherings by Sheraton, a concept designed to foster connection and productivity among guests.
Stepping into the newly revamped lobby feels like entering a “Public Square,” reflecting Nashville’s vibrant energy with an open, welcoming design. A wooden staircase, abundant natural light, and a communal table equipped with power outlets create a dynamic space for guests to work, relax, and connect. The all-day dining venue, &More by Sheraton, seamlessly blends a bar, coffee shop, and marketplace, offering an immersive culinary experience. Adding to the hotel’s unique charm are two state-of-the-art karaoke studios, aptly named after Nashville legends Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton. These studios provide a fun and interactive space perfect for both corporate team-building and leisure activities.
The hotel’s 29,000 square feet of event space has been meticulously upgraded to cater to meetings, groups, and events of all sizes. Thirteen versatile meeting rooms and The Studios—on-demand spaces ideal for group collaboration—feature high-quality AV equipment and customizable setups. Soundproof booths in the lobby provide guests with the privacy they need to connect remotely.
Guest rooms and suites have been thoughtfully redesigned with comfort and productivity in mind. Soft earth tones, plush seating areas, spacious workstations with built-in power, and luxurious bathrooms with modern amenities create an ideal environment for both work and relaxation. Sheraton Club level guests can enjoy exclusive access to the Club Lounge, which features daily complimentary breakfast and evening hors d’oeuvres, providing a refined space for socializing or unwinding.
Beyond the redesigned guest rooms and communal spaces, the hotel boasts a selection of world-class dining options that showcase Nashville’s culinary scene. In addition to &More by Sheraton, the hotel features two distinctive dining venues. The Library Restaurant & Lounge, located on the lobby level, pays homage to the building’s historical connection to the original Nashville Public Library, offering literary-inspired cocktails and an American cuisine menu. For a more elevated experience, the 28th-floor Skye Lounge now houses Sora Kitchen, the city’s highest sushi destination, offering panoramic views of the Nashville skyline.
“As we approach our centennial anniversary in 2025, we are thrilled to enter this exciting new era for Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown,” said Nicholas Allen, hotel manager. “This renovation reaffirms our commitment to providing unparalleled guest experiences and cements our role as a top destination in Music City.”
