On Sunday, a shooting incident occurred on Hegenberger Road in Oakland. The Oakland Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the 500 block of Hegenberger Road at approximately 2 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered evidence of a shooting but no victims. However, they were later notified of a gunshot wound victim who had sought medical attention at a nearby hospital.
According to police authorities, the victim’s injuries are not considered life-threatening. The Felony Assault Unit is actively investigating the incident and urges anyone with information to contact them at (510) 238-3426.
