## Signature Aviation Expands Sustainable Aviation Fuel Network with 6 New US Locations
Signature Aviation is expanding its commitment to sustainable aviation by adding six new US locations to its sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) network. This strategic move follows a recent agreement with Valero Marketing and Supply Company, a subsidiary of Valero Energy Corporation. Starting in January 2025, private aviation customers will be able to access SAF at Dallas Love Field, Washington Dulles International Airport, Miami International Airport, Opa-Locka Executive Airport, Palm Beach International Airport, and Teterboro Airport.
This expansion brings Signature Aviation’s total SAF locations to 23, encompassing eight of the top ten private aviation markets in the United States. The company has already established comprehensive SAF availability across all its California bases and several on the West Coast. Additionally, Signature Aviation operates six locations in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region, demonstrating its global commitment to sustainable practices.
The partnership with Valero allows Signature Aviation to significantly enhance its supply of blended SAF across the US, particularly along the Gulf and East Coasts. This expansion will result in an impressive addition of 58 million gallons of blended SAF to its network for 2025, furthering Signature Aviation’s dedication to sustainability. The new SAF offering will consist of a 35% blend of neat SAF with 65% conventional jet fuel.
Derek DeCross, Chief Commercial Officer at Signature Aviation, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating that it addresses customer needs and enhances SAF accessibility. “We are proud to lead the industry in developing a robust SAF supply chain, and this expansion is a testament to our commitment to sustainability,” he said. This initiative is part of Signature Aviation’s broader strategy to drive the adoption of sustainable practices in the aviation industry.
Signature Aviation’s dedication to sustainability has been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, which recently awarded the company a Green Power Leadership Award for its efforts in renewable electricity and green power advancement. Notably, the company has surpassed the 40 million gallon mark of blended SAF pumped, with its LAX terminal becoming the second globally, following its San Francisco International Airport location, to provide a 100% blended SAF supply.
This significant expansion of Signature Aviation’s SAF network demonstrates the company’s commitment to reducing the environmental impact of aviation and paving the way for a more sustainable future in the industry.
