Signature Travel Network, a cooperative owned by its member travel agencies, is set to host its annual Owners’ Meeting in Montreal from September 4 to 7, 2024. Held at Le Westin Montreal, the event will bring together over 460 attendees, including Signature Agency Owners, Preferred Partners, and top leadership. This gathering serves as a crucial platform for collaboration, strategic discussions, and acknowledging the cooperative’s successes throughout the year.
“We’re thrilled to bring our Signature family together in the vibrant city of Montreal,” said Alex Sharpe, President and CEO of Signature Travel Network. “This meeting is the event of the year for many members of our Signature family, offering a time to celebrate our successes, chart our course for the future, and most importantly, strengthen the bonds that make our network so special.”
2024 marks a year of significant achievements for Signature Travel Network, with a 15% increase in sales from preferred partners compared to the previous year. This surge represents over 1.7 million travelers booking with Signature Travel Network’s preferred partners, all of whom benefit from exclusive perks offered through these collaborations.
A key highlight of this year’s meeting is the annual charity auction dinner supporting Travel Elevates, Signature’s philanthropic arm, scheduled for September 6. Proceeds from the auction will fund the 2025 Travel Elevates Global Impact Grants. Over the past 18 months, Travel Elevates has invested over $1 million in various community initiatives. In 2024, seven grants were distributed across Africa, Cambodia, Honduras, Panama, Thailand, and Mexico, focusing on crucial areas such as early childhood education, career development for women entrepreneurs, sustainable agriculture, and a tech center. Additionally, the foundation provided emergency assistance to three Maui organizations for wildfire relief efforts.
“We are proud to continue our tradition of giving back to the communities that rely on travel and tourism for economic stability and development,” said Sharpe. “The charity auction dinner is Travel Elevates’ largest in-person fundraiser for the year, and we’re excited to see the impact we can make together.”
Ryan Hansen, President and Chief Operating Officer of Bon Voyage Travel and Signature Board of Directors Treasurer, underscored the significance of the event: “The Signature Owners’ Meeting is by far the most anticipated meeting of the year for our agency. We always look forward to cultivating relationships with key supplier partner decision-makers as well as learning more about the tremendous Signature tools and resources. Above all else, we value the sharing of best practices among fellow Signature agency owners as we collectively work to grow our individual businesses.”
Signature Travel Network remains a leader in the travel industry, empowering its members with cutting-edge resources, unique partnerships, and opportunities for collaboration. The 2024 Owners’ Meeting is one of several key events that foster networking and community engagement for both members and travel experts.
