QPR will host Leeds United at Loftus Road in the Championship on Saturday, with both teams looking to improve their respective positions in the table. QPR currently sit 12th, while Leeds are in eighth place.
In the latest episode of the Sky Sports Championship Predictions podcast, Simeon Gholam and David Prutton gave their thoughts on the upcoming match. Gholam believes that QPR will be the more motivated team on Saturday and will come away with a vital victory.
“I think QPR will win this game,” Gholam said. “They’re at home, they’ve got a good record at Loftus Road, and they’re coming off a good win against Cardiff. Leeds have lost their last two games, so I think QPR will be confident of getting a result.”
Prutton, however, believes that the match will be a close affair and has predicted a draw.
“I think this will be a tough game for both teams,” Prutton said. “QPR are a good side at home, but Leeds are a dangerous team going forward. I think it will be a draw.”
The match between QPR and Leeds United is scheduled to kick off at 3pm on Saturday, August 13. Coverage of the match will be live on Sky Sports Football.
