Ajay Devgn’s ‘Singham Again’ is proving to be a roaring success at the box office, continuing its winning streak with a strong ₹10.25 crore earning on its sixth day. While the film has seen a dip in its daily earnings compared to its opening weekend, it remains firmly in the crore club, demonstrating the audience’s continued interest in the action-packed saga.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, ‘Singham Again’ has collected a massive estimated ₹153.75 crore in India net, making it one of the highest-grossing films of the year. The film opened on a weekend, November 1st, and capitalized on the festive mood, earning an average of ₹43 crore in the first two days. However, weekdays saw a decline in earnings, with a 49.65 per cent drop on Day 4 and a 22.22 per cent decrease on Day 5.
Despite the slight dips, ‘Singham Again’ continues to enjoy high theatre occupancy across major cities like Ahmedabad, Pune, and Mumbai. Ahmedabad recorded the highest occupancy of 30.75 per cent, with theatres filled to 55 per cent for the night shows. Pune and Mumbai followed closely behind, recording estimated occupancies of 22.25 per cent and 24.75 per cent respectively. Ajay Devgn Talks Comeback and Facing Criticism
‘Singham Again’ marks Ajay Devgn’s comeback after facing criticism for his previous films’ underperformance. The actor, in an interview with ANI, acknowledged the negativity surrounding his career and the quick spread of criticism in today’s world. He shared, “In today’s world, negativity spreads quickly… People are quick to criticize, and everyone has an opinion. Despite the negativity, you have to keep moving forward and working hard.” This resilient attitude reflects the spirit of Bajirao Singham, who relentlessly fights against crime and injustice.
Directed by Rohit Shetty, ‘Singham Again’ draws inspiration from the Ramayana, portraying a high-stakes battle between Singham and the merciless terrorist Danger Lanka, played by Arjun Kapoor.
