The Sister Accord Foundation and the Nelson Mandela Foundation have joined forces to empower girls and women globally. This partnership marks a significant step in the Foundation’s journey to reach one billion girls and women.
The event, held at Sanctuary Mandela in Houghton, included a breakfast, networking opportunities, and a presentation of The Sister Accord Leadership Award to the guest of honor and the last living leader of the 1956 Women’s March.
The partnership will leverage the expertise and resources of both organizations to implement programs, provide financial support, and create educational content to promote positive relationships, self-esteem, and leadership skills among girls and women.
The foundation has made significant strides since its inception in 2013, with chapters established in various regions and a strong online presence through its popular YouTube videos. Its expansion into South Africa through this partnership further strengthens its global reach.
