SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, has announced the appointment of Laura Abraham as its new Head of Digital & Technology, effective immediately. This strategic move underscores SkyTeam’s commitment to enhancing customer experience through seamless and integrated digital solutions.
Abraham, who replaces Christian Oberlé, brings a wealth of experience from her seven-year tenure at Delta Air Lines, a SkyTeam member. During her time at Delta, she held various roles in Technology, Consumer Insights, and Alliances, culminating in her position as Director of CX Innovation & Tech Strategy.
In her new role at SkyTeam, Abraham will lead the central IT organization, working closely with member airlines. Her focus will be on driving innovation and implementing digital strategies that elevate connectivity and efficiency across the global aviation network.

Laura Abraham, newly appointed as Head of Digital & Technology at SkyTeam, is not only a seasoned professional in aviation technology but also a dedicated advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I). During her tenure at Delta Air Lines, Abraham served as Vice President of Delta’s SHE Business Resource group and was an active member of the airline’s International DE&I steering committee. Her work in these roles highlights her commitment to fostering inclusive environments within the industry.
Abraham’s career before Delta also showcases her extensive experience in technology leadership. She was the Director of PMO for Western Union, where she managed project management operations, and prior to that, she advanced various technology initiatives at United Airlines. Her diverse background and passion for DE&I initiatives make her a valuable addition to SkyTeam as they continue to innovate and enhance their global network.
