SkyWest Airlines, a subsidiary of SkyWest, is excited to announce the resumption of direct United Express flights between St. George, Utah (SGU), and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), starting September 26, 2024. This announcement marks a significant expansion of air service options for travelers in St. George, offering convenient connections to a vast network of destinations.

The new LAX service offers SGU travelers unprecedented access to five global hubs across the country, courtesy of SkyWest. This new route complements SkyWest’s existing flight network, which currently includes daily United Express flights to Denver, Delta Connection flights to Salt Lake City (SLC), and American Eagle flights to Phoenix (PHX) and Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW). Los Angeles will become the fifth hub accessible via SkyWest’s United Express service starting in September.
Travelers departing from Los Angeles International Airport can choose from over 150 daily departures to more than 100 destinations worldwide on United Airlines. This provides St. George residents with extensive travel possibilities, both domestically and internationally. Additionally, St. George customers flying with United can accrue MileagePlus miles, further enhancing their travel experience.
The flights will be operated by SkyWest using the 50-seat Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ200), ensuring a comfortable and efficient journey for passengers. This convenient daily roundtrip flight offers more accessibility than ever for both business and leisure travelers from SGU, providing excellent connection opportunities at LAX.
