The driver, after the collision, fled the scene.
The victim, identified as Rohit, a resident of Uchgaon village near Kolhapur city, was reportedly on his way home when the incident occurred. He is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital. Following the incident, the Kolhapur police registered a case and are actively searching for the absconding driver. The CCTV footage provides crucial evidence for the investigation.
