The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the release of admit cards for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 Tier 1 exam. Candidates from the Central (CR) and Northeast Region (NER) can now access their hall tickets for the exam, scheduled to take place from September 9 to September 26, 2024.
To download their admit cards, candidates need to visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in. They can access their admit cards by logging in with their registration number, SSC registered password, and captcha.
It is important to note that the Central Region comprises Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, while the Northeast Region includes Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura. Candidates from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Delhi, and Uttarakhand will have to wait for the commission to release their admit cards.

SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2024: Exam Pattern
As per the SSC notification, the Tier 1 exam will consist of 100 multiple choice questions, divided into four sections:

English Comprehension:
25 questions (50 marks)The exam will be conducted online, and each question carries one mark. Candidates should be aware that there will be negative marking for incorrect answers, with 0.50 marks deducted for each wrong attempt.
Recruitment Drive:
Through this recruitment drive, the commission aims to fill a total of 17,727 positions across Group B and Group C categories.
Important Instructions:
* Candidates must bring their admit card and a valid photo ID proof to the examination center.
* Electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
* Candidates are advised to arrive at the examination center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled exam time.
