* Each correct answer carries 0.50 marks, while each wrong answer deducts 0.25 marks.
* The exam is conducted in a computer-based format.

Tier-2 Exam:

* The SSC CHSL Tier-2 exam involves a descriptive paper (pen and paper-based).
* The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
* Candidates need to write an essay (200-250 words) and a letter/application (150-200 words) in either English or Hindi.

Tier-3 Exam (Skill Test):

* The Tier-3 exam is a skill test for specific posts.
