Stana Katic, best known for her role as Kate Beckett in the hit show Castle, has a handsome husband named Kris Brkljač. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in Croatia in 2015 and welcomed their first child in winter 2021.
Kris is an Australian-born business efficiency consultant who also has an acting credit under his belt, having appeared in Stana’s 2017 movie, Lost in Florence, as a diner. The businessman doesn’t have a public social media account, and the pair have kept their relationship very private – aside from the occasional posts by Stana to mark a special occasion on Instagram.
Stana has shared her love and appreciation for her husband on social media, posting a heartfelt message on Father’s Day and marking their anniversary with a sweet snap of them.
Despite being a mom to her two-year-old, Stana has had a busy time in her career. She is currently set to star in Murder in a Small Town as Zoe Strachan, has voiced Wonder Woman in the Justice League animated films, and starred in the popular show Absentia, which concluded in 2020.
Stana left the show Castle in 2015 after being written out ahead of a planned season nine, which was ultimately canceled. Despite the difficult ending, Stana expressed her gratitude for the experience and the people she worked with on the show.
