Xbox has announced that two iconic StarCraft titles, *StarCraft: Remastered* and *StarCraft 2: Campaign Collection*, will be joining the ranks of Xbox Game Pass for PC and Ultimate on November 5th. This news was revealed by Microsoft Gaming CEO, Phil Spencer himself, who made a virtual appearance at the Tokyo Game Show 2024 sporting a stylish StarCraft T-shirt.
While StarCraft and StarCraft 2’s multiplayer modes have always been free to play on Battle.net with a Classic account, this Game Pass addition provides a fantastic opportunity for players to delve into the captivating single-player campaigns. *StarCraft: Remastered* boasts stunning visual and audio enhancements, featuring 4K resolution and widescreen aspect ratio support, bringing the classic game to life in breathtaking detail.
*StarCraft 2: Campaign Collection* offers an expansive experience, granting access to over 70 missions across the *Heart of the Swarm*, *Wings of Liberty*, and all other expansions. Both releases retain their beloved multiplayer modes, allowing players to test their strategic skills against others online.
Typically, *StarCraft 2: Campaign Collection* carries a price tag of $40 on Battle.net, while *StarCraft: Remastered* retails for $15. However, Game Pass subscribers can now enjoy both games without any additional cost. It’s worth noting that the *StarCraft: Cartooned* bundles will not be included in the Game Pass offering.
