Levi Wallace, a former cornerback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is anticipated to sign a one-year contract with the Denver Broncos, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport. Wallace visited Denver on Monday and is expected to sign a contract before the 2024 NFL Draft starts on Thursday. Wallace, who played for the Steelers for two seasons, had various alternatives for his third NFL team but opted to play under Broncos coach Vance Joseph.
Wallace made 38 tackles, with a half tackle for loss and two interceptions, while playing in 16 games for the Steelers in 2023. Last month, his two-year, $8 million contract with the Steelers expired, making him a free agent. Wallace joined the Steelers after spending four seasons with the Buffalo Bills. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent from Alabama and won two college football championships with the Crimson Tide in 2015 and 2017.
